The Four Year Part-Time Licentiate for Professional Practitioner training

Philosophy and Principles

You will study the homeopathic way of thinking that encompasses an understanding of how we get sick, the development of symptoms in the individual context and the approach to enable relief of suffering by applying this philosophy.

The means of application is via homeopathic medicines (remedies).  This body of knowledge, the Materia Medica, forms a substantial part of your study.

You will be able to appreciate the different approaches to illness, the role of conventional and homeopathic medicine in the context of health and disease.

Alongside this you will also study concepts of how the body and mind works and an up to date understanding of disease processes and outcomes.

Human Science

Initially you will consider anatomy, physiology and normal functioning.  You will then continue this study into disease processes and how conventional approaches are used.

The keystone of your studies will be your own personal growth so that your professional confidence and competence has solid foundations to flourish.

Clinical Education and Professional Development

Our aim is to help you become a safe, responsible homeopath, aware of your professional code of ethics and responsibilities to the larger community.

The licentiate course is aimed at achieving a first degree equivalence in academic standards.  As a vocational course, however, the emphasis is on your development as a confident practitioner founded in sound practices and homeopathic principles.
